I can't believe I am actually here already. So much to do now since my bed and refrigerator is still quite empty. The weather is quite alright during the day but not as bearable for me during the night. I was shivering in cold as I get ready to take a bath! And it's not wash-hair-day yet even! *shivers at the idea of future freezing after-baths*
I forgotten to switch on the heater so my room was a bit chilly but I've switched it on now. I feel so much better with my sweater on. I realize I'm really a lazy cook. I had instant steamed rice (Tesco brand) for dinner. Very easy to make. I think I'll have to stick back to rice again. I hope not.
Tomorrow will be a long day. Lots of things to settle. First I need to pay my first installment for tuition fee, then run down to Victoria Centre to open a bank account (mental note: bring passport), after that get a UK number (subscribing to O2) and then shop for necessities. There's a promotion going on: 10 pounds per month with unlimited text messages and 200 minutes talk time (terms and conditions yet to be examined). I think it looks like a good deal.
I'm feeling a bit floaty at the moment, I think I'm too tired. Did quite a bit of walking and carrying lots of stuff (heavy ones mind you). Eye lids are closing on their own... I'll try to take some pictures and upload them here. Internet speed here is faster than home. I feel like getting a headset for my MacBook. The idea of flatmates able to listen to my online conversations makes me uneasy.
My flatmates are girls around the same age as me. Two of them are studying the LPC and another doing her Business Degree. I hope we all will get along well. I hope I won't talk nonsense and annoy them. Bah!
