My Room @ Goldsmith Court (Nottingham)

I am currently staying in a flat at Goldsmith Court. It's a small place with quite a good view towards the residential areas on the hills. It's a bit noisy because the tram is just a stone's throw away and I still haven't got the hang of the heater. It switches off on its own somehow, leaving me cold in the morning.

There are plenty of things I'd love to show you but I am quite tired already, even though it's only 10.30pm here. I woke up at 6.30am automatically. I think I'm having jet lag.

Anyways, here the pics:

My room: bed with new duvet and blue bedsheets. Good thing I brought my bolster :D

The view from my bed. The opened door leads to the ensuite toilet.

The shelf, the cupboard and the heater (bottom right)

My things in the cupboard

The little toilet

The only mirror in the room but it's not full length. I don't quite like the taps like that, I have to use either really hot water or really cold water to wash hands and brush teeth.

The toilet bowl that's always cold

Towel bar and the entrance to the shower stall

Shower that can be taken down :)

I placed the japan-made-dirt-stopper there. Whoever designed it must be a genius! I love the Japanese's home equipment designs. They really know what we need most.

I will try to post more about Nottingham but I am too tired now. I really need to sleep but the noise outside (construction going on) is quite disturbing.

Goodnight everybody! (and Good Morning!)

[Edit: I realised that many reading this are future tenants, I've blogged more about the flat ie the kitchen in a short entry here for your benefit.]
