Malaysian Games @ Nottingham University: FOOD

This post is dedicated to Malaysian food. I've been dreaming about it since I came here. I never used to crave so strongly for local delicacies but 3 months since the last Hokkien mee is too much (not to forget Madam Kwans!). I miss laksa and curry mee... Being away from home and great local food does make one loose the ability to count money :p

The Malaysian Games held in Nottingham University every year is a place to fulfill every Malaysian student's dreams: EAT MALAYSIAN FOOD!

Every stall was crowded

I miss hearing the familiar Malaysian slang

There's herbal chicken soup, fried rice, nasi lemak, satay etc...

Packed!

I didn't try this...sad :(

My Claypot Chicken rice (so good~)

I don't know what this is called

This is Kuih Gula Melaka

It's the best dessert I bought for the day! GULA MELAKA!!!!!

Thai Glass Noodles Salad: so spicy and yummy! Reminds me of the good old days in Thailand.

Last but not least: Taufu Far

My only regret that day was that I couldn't get cendol because "dah habis" (sold out) :(

Spent: £10
