Quest on Getting a Bag of Chipster (for Nuffnang Pajamas Party)

I know this is damn last minute but I really want to go for the Nuffnang pajamas party. (For those who are not aware of what I'm saying, the only requirement to be invited for the party is to pose with Chipster and blog about why I sleep better with Chipster) After reading millions of innovative and creative posts of other bloggers out there, I just had to get a bag of Chipster to join in the fun!

The beginning of my quest...

Down the curve...

Closer to the grocery shop...

Can get parking here easily...

I thought of getting it from a small grocery shop just down the road. Drove there, feeling excited, took a picture of that shop, went in. WHAT! NO CHIPSTER???

This is the freaking shop that doesn't sell Chipster wtf!

Feeling frustrated, disappointed and wanted to give up but I drove off determined to get that Chipster. "You can run but you can't hide~~" (I remember this phrase from the bad guy in a Power Rangers movie I watched when I was a kid). I drove again, passing by billions (I'm not kidding you) of flags and posters for the upcoming elections, thinking that maybe I can Photoshop them and make them into Chipster flags instead.

Chipster flags!?

My heart was pumping hard while I drive, can't wait! I saw a man getting to his car, parking! Happily I waited for 5 seconds...5...4...3...2...1... Shit, he's not leaving, @#%$&!

The place that's so bloody difficult to get a decent parking.

Okay, one fake parking. Never mind, I'm up for challenges. You can't bring me downnnnnnn!!!!! Drive again along the road...Argh, almost banged a motorcyclist who came out from my left all of a sudden! *heart attack* Shit shit, why is Chipster doing this to me~ No, I must get it!

Came up to the doorsteps of this shop: 99 Speedmarket (my dad's rival because dad runs his own grocery store as well). Took a picture, extremely excited, agitated and still not over with the almost-accident. Walked into the store in my big T-shirt and shorts + messy hair. Search frantically for the junk food section...I'm almost there...look for Chipster and...WALAH, I FOUND IT!!!! *jumps up and down in the grocery shop while laughing heartily to myself*

The 99 Speedmart

Ah, finally...the row of Chipsters!!!!

The cashier was looking at me 'one kind' when I was taking this

My little Chipster lying safely in this bag

Mwahaha, mine, all MINE!
(This is me looking extremely horrible because I just woke up not long ago)

Chipster-Hard-to-Get-Challenges:
one lousy grocery shop;
thousands of election banners (why is this a challenge, I don't know);
one fake parking;
one close accident on an Ah Pek motorcyclist;
one "heart attack" (in front of the shop because I was so excited);
one act-like-a-fool-laughing-out-loud session and;
RM2.10.

Yes, it's only RM2.10 each!

Something hard to get is something to be treasured. Now I can sleep soundly hugging my Chipster.

ps: A picture of me in pajamas and Chipster coming soon!

Heart Shaped Famous Amos Cookie Tin

Yesterday Bf came over and gave me a surprise. I thought it was a bottle of honey because we've been talking about getting some since he's in the 'honey phase' at the moment. Turn out it was this:

A heart shaped tin!

Pretty isn't it?

Heh, don't want to tell you what it is :P

Me love this tin(thing)!

Okay okay, I'm opening it...

It's not JUST a heart shaped tin of course, it's Famous Amos cookies! I have been craving for Famous Amos cookies for a long time but I'm too stingy to buy them. Most of the time, I take advantage of their "Free Smell" and that's about it. Famous Amos is truly one of my favourite cookies of the year and now they've come up with such a sweet packaging! ^_^

Woohoo, the cookies!

Yummy yum yum...

Famous Amos' new ambassador!

I don't know how much it is. The cookies are nice but not as great as the freshly made ones. Famous Amos still RULES!

Upgrade System (upgrade from boyfriend to husband)

This is a joke I received from my mom via email:

Dear IT Support,

Last year I upgraded from Boyfriend 5.0 to Husband 1.0 and noticed a slow down in the overall performance, particularly in the flower, gifts and jewellery applications that had operated flawlessly under Boyfriend 5.0.

In addition, Husband 1.0 un-installed many other valuable programs, such as Romance 9.5 and Personal Attention 6.5, but installed undesirable programs such as Formula One 5.0, NBA 3.0 and World Cup 2.0.

And now Conversation 8.0 no longer runs and House Cleaning 2.6 simply crashes the system. I've tried running Nagging 5.3 to fix these problems, but to no avail.

What can I do?

Signed,
Desperate Housewife

Reply:
Dear Desperate Housewife,

First keep in mind:
Boyfriend 5.0 is an entertainment package, while Husband 1.0 is an operating system.

Try entering the command C:\ I THOUGHT YOU LOVED ME and download
Tears 6.2 to install Guilt 3.0.

If all works as designed, Husband 1.0 should then automatically run the applications Jewellery 2.0 and Flowers 3.5.

But remember, overuse can cause Husband 1.0 to default to Grumpy Silence 2.5, Happy Hour 7.0 or Late Night Teh Tarik 6.1.

Late Night 6.1 is a very bad program that will create SnoringLoudly.wav files.

Whatever you do, DO NOT install Mother-in-Law 1.0 or reinstall another
Boyfriend program. These are not supported applications and will crash
Husband 1.0.

In summary, Husband 1.0 is a great program, but it does have a limited
memory and cannot learn new applications quickly.

You might consider additional software to improve memory and performance. I personally recommend Hot Tasty Food 3.0 and Tongkat Ali 6.9.

Good Luck,
IT Support

And this is the reply I got from Bf:

Upgrade to Husband 3.8, he supports all of Boyfriend 5.0's apps. The only requirement is that you must install HotSex 9.0 to run it.

ps: I can hear the guys say "Yeah man~"

My best friend Yi Hui

Yi Hui a.k.a. Athena has left for Melbourne again on the 22nd February 2008. It will be a long separation this time. Therefore, we took some 'farewell' (more like insane) pictures at her home (which is right beside Bf's place) the day before she left.

Let me introduce this close friend of mine, who is currently studying Mass Communication in Melbourne University and very interested in Stage Performance. She's a bubbly girl whom I find is one of the easiest person to get along with. Will miss you a lot! (I'll eat all the nice food here on your behalf, don't worry!)

There she is!

Athena is cute, isn't she?
I have no idea why I did the pout thing~

I know I look weird here but she looks great, so for the sake of my friend, I sacrifice.

I know 'friends forever' sounds a bit childish and silly but I still want to say: Friends forever no matter where we all will be.

ps: You can read about her here.

Crab Meat Bun + Hot Claypot Porridge

I went for dinner with my parent's yesterday and came across something I've never had after all these years growing up in Selangor and KL. Dad drove to Sri Petaling (where Theresa Kok is running her elections, vote her!) and we decided we'll have dinner in whatever place we parked.

Almost immediately, a car came out and there was a perfect parking spot right in front of a Chinese coffee shop. I thought all coffee shops are just the same and did not expect anything surprising...until we sat down, screened the stalls and saw this: Crab Meat Buns.

Wth is crab meat bun? Order and try lah! So this is it.

The crab meat sauce (sour and spicy) in the middle of a donut shaped fried bun

You are supposed to tear the fried bun and dip in in the seafood sauce containing not just crab mean but also prawns, eggs and stingray. Its portion is good enough for two if you order something else each, it's more like a side order instead of a main dish. I think it was quite decent although the seafood was not very fresh (don't expect too much from coffee shops for the low prices we pay). It was a good change from the normal Hokkien Mee or Bah Kut Teh.

I was also amused by the porridge dad ordered because they cook it in a claypot with a big Chinese charater "Zhou" (meaning porridge) on it.

I know, I know, I'm too easily amused~

ps: w800i doesn't come with a flash so do excuse me for the lousy pictures.

Baskin Robbins Fondue

Baskin Robbins has come up with a trendy BR Cafe. It has a much younger and colourful design. Pink is still its dominant colour. It give you that lively energetic feeling of being young!

The BR Cafe Counter

See the fantastic variety of options to go with ice cream!

Zoom in to two of my favourite flavours: dark choc and white choc

Happy and Artistic

The cafe offers not just a variety of ice creams but also plenty of desserts related to ice creams. One of my favourite is Fondue. The BR Fondue (regular) has 20 small scoops of ice creams with fruits and cakes to be dipped into the warm melted dark chocolate sprinkled with nuts on top.

That's what I'm going to have!

I must say that editing pictures are a real torture as it reminds me of the lovely fondue that I had not so long ago at Pavilion. AHhhhh...heaven!

Waiting for my fondue (3 - the prosperous number)

So bored I camwhored with it

Dip dip drip drip

Here's my Fondue~

A closer look of more BR ice creams

20 scoops of ice cream, fruits and chocolate cake (Bf's favourite)

Nuts and melted dark chocolate bring everything from good to great!

Frosted Ice Cream Balls

Dip it in the pot of chocolate

BR ice cream coated with harden crispy chocolate

MINE~ lalala...

Chocolate sandwiched between strawberry pieces

Double thumbs up for the BR fondue (and Bf's payment)

After eating, got to make sure my mouth is clean, don't I?
