I was told (definition of "told" is loosely applied because I wasn't exactly told) that food pictures are more enticing than shoes so here are some of my favourite edibles I had lately: Dim Sum!
There's been a growth of chain dim sum restaurants in KL, one of the more common ones is Jin Xuan. As a matter of fact, one of the branches was opened just 5 minutes drive away from my house. But as expected, the standard of the food plunges as more branches are opened. I don't know what it is but seriously someone should really get to the bottom of the problem! It happens to every chain restaurants ie. Pappa Rich, Old Town Kopitiam etc.
So this time, we decided to go somewhere with better food and Canton-i it was. The price was slightly higher than the usual dim sum chains but the food is better too. As the chinese saying goes: 一分钱一分货, meaning you get what you pay for.

香竽流沙包 Xiang Yu Liu Sha Bao
Creamy mixture of custard and salted egg yolk in a yam bun. Sweet golden and fattening heaven! Do you see what's behind the bun?
Yes, it's the cute little Piggy Bao ("bao" means bun). I believe my sister ordered it purely because it's adorable. SO CUTE I WANA EAT YOU UP!
Toasted buttered bun with condensed milk. My sister's favourite. I personally don't like condensed milk.
Ah hah! My usual: Siew Mai. It's steamed pork dumplings.
